The SBL is a professional 3-on-3, high-flying, acrobatic basketball experience played on a revolutionary, league-engineered bouncing court that turns every possession into a highlight. No sneakers allowed on this court! The players compete in league approved custom grip socks designed for maximum performance and safety.
Athletes soar higher, move faster, and create jaw-dropping moments on every play—because in Skyball, everyone can rise above the rim. Featuring both elite men and women who can dunk, flip, and electrify crowds in ways never seen before.

SBL PLAYER REQUIREMENTS
The SkyBall Basketball League (SBL) is seeking elite, high-energy athletes ready to compete in a fast-paced, high-flying 3-on-3 basketball experience played on a custom bounce court. This is where skill meets showtime.
Eligibility Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older

Must be in good physical condition

Must be available for tryouts, games, practices, and league events
Athletic Requirements

SBL athletes must be able to perform at a high level on a bounce surface:

Strong vertical ability or jumping potential
-
Excellent speed, and body control
-
Ability to run, jump, and land safely on a bouncy court
-
Solid basketball fundamentals (dribbling, passing, shooting)
Performance & Style

Ability to dribble, execute dunks, aerial plays, and high-energy moves
-
Play with confidence, creativity, and intensity
-
Bring excitement and crowd engagement to every game

Strong competitive mindset

Mental & Physical Readiness

Must NOT be afraid of heights or aerial play

Comfortable performing in front of live crowds and cameras

Able to compete in a fast-paced, high-impact environment

Must demonstrate discipline, focus, and teamwork
Personality & Representation
SBL players are part of the show and the brand:

Player Compensation
SBL is a paid performance league offering compensation opportunities for selected players.
Players who make the league roster will receive:

The (SBL) delivers a high-energy, weekly sports and entertainment experience where every game night features, impeccable dribbling and shooting skills, high flying dunks, nonstop action, elite competition, and crowd engagement.

consistent and exciting weekly event and atmosphere for fans.

The SkyBall Basketball League is searching for the official SkyBall mascot performer to bring "Sky Captain" to life during games, community events, appearances, and special promotions.
As Sky Captain, you'll help energize fans, interact with players, participate in contests, appear in promotional videos, and become one of the most recognizable faces of the SkyBall brand.

SKYBALL SLAM FEST
PRE-SEASON EXHIBITION & MEDIA DAY
(1 week before season starts)
The SBL Slam Fest – Preseason Exhibition Slam is a high-energy, fan-first kickoff event that introduces the Sky Ball Basketball League to the community in a fun, festival-style atmosphere. Slam Fest features live 3-on-3 exhibition games on our signature blue bouncy court, giving fans their first look at the high-flying action that defines Sky Ball.
The event also serves as Media Day, with interviews, press coverage, player introductions, and spotlights happening live. Fans will have the opportunity to meet the players, take photos, get autographs, and connect with the Flight Crew and Sky Captain, all while enjoying music, giveaways, and interactive experiences.
This is also a major moment for partners and sponsors, providing premium opportunities for brand activations, on-site engagement, and direct interaction with fans, media, sponsors, partners, and key stakeholders will be present throughout the event, creating a true networking and community atmosphere. Attendees can purchase Opening Day tickets, shop official SkyBall merchandise, and fully immerse themselves in the energy of the league.
Best of all, Slam Fest is completely free to the public, making it an inclusive, can’t-miss celebration that officially launches the SkyBall season.
